Q: How long has counsel been licensed?
A: Jeffrey D. Anson is a California-licensed attorney (SBN 360243). Licensure was acquired in 2025. Before licensure, he worked for over a decade as a law clerk on complex civil matters, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. Law-clerk experience is distinct from licensed-attorney practice.
Communication & relationships
Q: Does filling out the contact form hire you?
A: No. Contact alone does not create an attorney-client relationship. Representation begins only if both sides agree and a written engagement is in place.
Q: Will you keep my information confidential before I hire you?
A: The firm treats intake information carefully. Formal attorney-client confidentiality and conflict rules apply according to California law and the circumstances of the contact. Do not email highly sensitive materials until asked.
